The 1960 CGC Outing

These pictures were taken at the Barracks and at Ft. Washington before and during one of our C.G.C. "informal outings."

Tom Pencarinha and Ken Murray cooling off in front of one of the Barracks' "air conditioners - 1960 issue"

Lt. Ron Lethin in his rakish hat. Willie Freeman (deceased) in rear.

Front (l-r): Larry Hess, Paul Keegan, Dave Pullo and Gerry Sulanowski (deceased)
Back (l-r): Tom Holstein and John Hershiser.

Jerry Weiss and Bob Molnar.

The end of the "blanket toss" for those who couldn't walk.
P.S. The blanket ended its cooperation when it ripped.
(l-r): Joe Laudislo, Gerry Sulanowski (deceased), Merle Johnson, Bob Flick, Bob Molnar, Ken Murray and unknown

After Bob Job's combat boots were forcibly removed from him and tossed up in a tree, John Hershiser climbed the tree in his cutaway "Dress Blue Zebra" and retrieved them - only to fall the last 20 feet or so — he lived.
